Police Report

The Lawson Police Department logged the following activities in the city during the past week.
All Week - Provided routine patrol.
All Week - Performed routine residential and business checks.
All Week - Provided routine traffic control.
All Week - Provided routine traffic control for school buses.
Nov. 9 - Responded to a disturbance between two males on Clark Street at 2:35 p.m.
Attempted to serve a subpoena at 4 p.m. but was unable to make contact with the party.
Followed up on investigations at 6:15 p.m.
Nov. 10 - Issued a warning citation to a motorist for speeding on U.S. 69 at 12:35 p.m.
Issued a warning citation to a motorist for speeding on U.S. 69 at 1:33p.m.
Issued a warning citation to a motorist for speeding on U.S. 69 at 1:50 p.m.
Responded to a report of children playing in the street on 10th Street on a small motorcycle at 3:55p.m. Advised the children to stay off the street.
At 5:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a truck speeding  down Milwaukee Street. They were unable to locate the truck.
Nov. 11 - Issued a citation to a motorist for speeding (61/45) on U.S. 69 at Route D at 10:19 a.m.
At 4:06 p.m., police issued a warning citation to a motorist for speeding (37/25) on N. Raum at 8th Terrace.
Nov. 12 - An unknown person tried to enter unlawfully into a building on 8th Terrace at 5:30 a.m. The officer was unable to locate the man.
Arrested Chad Bradley, 35, Excelsior Springs, at the police station on a warrant for failing to appear in court to answer to charges of speeding at 2:30 p.m.
At 9:18 p.m., police responded to a complaint of loud music on W.8th Terrace. The resident agreed to turn it down.
On Nov. 13, police responded to a report of a careless and imprudent driver on Route D at U.S. 69.
Issued a citation to a motorist for speeding (56/45) on Route D at Cates Street at 7:20 p.m.
An officer responded to an address on 8th Terrace where a citizen reported hearing noises at 11:48 p.m. The area was secure.
At 12:38 a.m. on Nov. 14, a man fled from police on foot after being pulled over for a traffic stop on Route D.
Nov. 15 -- Responded to a domestic disturbance on Ridge Drive at 2:51
